Chairmans Cup
The Chairmans cup was awarded at Scaleforum from 1978 to 2005. The models were judged in 6 classes with trophies for each class,
the Chairmans cup then going to the best in show.
Note, classes 1 - 5 were introduced in 1979 and class 6 added in 1981. Class 6 entries were awarded certificates but were not eligible for the cup. The classes were:
- 1 - Kit or scratchbuilt locomotives
- 2 - Coaching Stock
- 3 - Freight Stock
- 4 - Buildings, structures and lineside items
- 5 - Converted proprietary ready-to-run locomotives
- 6 - Partly completed models.
