Yorkshire (West) Area Group
The West Yorkshire Area Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Our current default venue is the Thatched House pub, Stanley, near Wakefield, but as we often meet at members' homes or arrange visits to local places of railway interest, members interested in joining us should contact me if they are not aware of our arrangements. We could not bear the thought of you waiting alone in an unfamiliar pub. Meetings ususally start at 8.00 pm.
We do not have a group layout, but some of us have layouts of our own, giving the opportunity for running nights. There will always be someone at our meetings who will be able to answer your model construction, mechanical or electrical problems. Probably everyone - all different, but all friendly. I speak from experience.
