South London Area Group (SLAG)

The South London Area Group (SLAG) has a current membership of 11 and about 6 or so of us regularly meet in our clubroom within Leatherhead Leisure Centre every Monday evening (except Bank Holidays) from about 19:30 to 22:00, after which we usually wind up at the pub.

We normally keep our exhibition layout, St Merryn, erected for running and training purposes (for which we bring along our stock) and to continue adding detail as the urge takes us.

We are currently constructing a new 'test track' to provide Group members with a facility to test their stock over various formations.

Group members have a wide range of prototype interests.

The Group is informal but keen to persue and facilitate active modelling rather than solely acting as a social group, though there is much of that too.

Society members are always welcome for a chat or to participate in group activities, but please contact Steve Carter first in order to understand the access arrangements.

Anyone who needs directions can also contact Steve by e-mail at slag at scalefour.org or using the details on the Blue Sheet.
